Pilsen Family Desperate for Help: Missing Cat Čertík Last Seen Jan. 18
PILSEN, CZECH REPUBLIC – A local family in Pilsen is pleading for the public’s help to find their beloved pet cat, Čertík, who went missing from his home on January 18th, 2025, around 2:00 p.m.
Čertík, a dark tabby cat, is described as being around five kilograms in weight and will turn five years old in April. While neutered, he is unfortunately not microchipped. Though Čertík enjoys exploring, his owner, Müllerová, explains that he is usually quite shy and fearful of strangers. The family stressed that it’s unusual for him to be away for extended periods and that they are deeply worried about his whereabouts.
"He’s always returned home every two to three hours for meals," Müllerová shared. "We’ve had friends and neighbors keep a lookout, but so far, nothing. It’s very unlike him to be gone this long.”
The Müllerová´s are tirelessly searching for Čertík. They have circulated flyers throughout the neighborhood featuring his picture, and even started a social media group, "Find Čertík," to expand their reach.
"We’ve exhausted all our local efforts. Now, we’re asking anyone who might have seen him or knows anything, no matter how small, to please contact us," added Müllerová. "We are desperate to bring our beloved Čertík home safely."
