Lupita Godinez extends Jessica Andrade’s losing streak at UFC 319

Godinez stood toe-to-toe with Andrade across three rounds of action in Chicago.

Godinez outlanded Andrade on the feet and took her down once, winning a unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards.

With only a few bruises, the Mexican came out relatively unscathed against Andrade, who is known for her power.

That’s back-to-back victories for Godinez. As for Andrade, this is the former champion’s third-straight loss in the UFC Octagon. Andrade lost to Natalia Silva and Jasmine Jasudavicius previously.

Jessica Andrade has bounced back from this skid before

Andrade has never lost four fights in a row before.

In 2023, Andrade suffered the worst losing skid of her career when she lost three fights in a row by stoppage.

In the same year, Andrade returned to winning ways with one of the best performances we’ve seen from her—a second-round knockout of Mackenzie Dern.

We’ll see if Andrade can rebound once more in 2025.
