A 74-year-old man remains in critical condition in hospital following a violent assault in Co Antrim. Police are appealing for witnesses after the pensioner was punched in the head, leaving him unconscious.
Attack Details
The incident occurred at Station Street at approximately 7:30 pm last night. According to police, the victim sustained serious head injuries as a result of the assault.
Arrests Made
Two individuals, a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, have been arrested by police on suspicion of attempted murder. They are currently assisting officers with their investigation.

Detectives in Antrim are urging anyone who witnessed the assault or has any relevant information to come forward. Particularly, they are seeking dash-cam or CCTV footage that may have captured the incident.
