Matthew Perry’s Former Home Sells for $8.5 Million Nearly a Year After His Death
The Pacific Palisades home of the late actor Matthew Perry has sold for $8.55 million just shy of the one-year anniversary of his passing. The 3,500-square-foot property was purchased by movie producer and real estate developer Anita Verma-Lallian, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.
A Familiar Stage Turns New Chapter
Perry originally purchased the house back in 2020 for $6 million. Tragically, it was in the hot tub at this residence where he was found unresponsive on October 28th, 2023. His death, initially suspected to be drowning, was later ruled to be the acute effects of Ketamine paired with contributing factors like coronary artery disease and buprenorphine effects.
The sale comes at a time when legal proceedings related to Perry’s death are ongoing. One doctor, Mark Chavez, has already pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute ketamine. Several others, including Perry’s personal assistant and an alleged drug dealer nicknamed the “Ketamine Queen,” are facing charges.
