Meghan Trainor Cancels The Get In Girl Tour to Focus on Family On Thursday, April 16, 2026, Meghan Trainor announced the cancellation of her upcoming The Get In Girl Tour, just months before its scheduled kickoff in June. The decision came as the singer prepared to welcome her third child with husband Daryl Sabara and promote her seventh studio album, Toy With Me, set for release on April 24, 2026. In a statement shared via her Instagram Stories, Trainor explained that balancing the demands of a new album, tour preparations, and family life had develop into overwhelming. “After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the tough decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour,” she wrote. “Balancing the new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time.” The tour, which was announced in November 2025, was slated to begin June 12, 2026, at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan, and run through August 15, 2026, with a final show at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. It was to feature 33 dates across North America, including stops in Toronto, Orlando, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Seattle, and San Francisco, with supporting acts Icona Pop and Ryan Trainor. Trainor expressed regret to fans who had been looking forward to the shows, acknowledging the disappointment her cancellation would cause. “I know this will come as a disappointment to my fans and I am so sorry to let you down,” she said. “But I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now. I promise I’ll be back soon, and I can’t wait for you to hear this new record. I’m so proud of it, and I’m endlessly grateful for your love and support always.” Despite canceling the tour, Trainor used the announcement to share the tracklist for Toy With Me with her followers, offering a glimpse into the new music she had been working on. The album’s release date remains unchanged for April 24, 2026. As of the announcement date, no rescheduled tour dates have been provided. Trainor emphasized her intention to return to performing when she is able to fully commit to both her career and her family.
