LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College men’s soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw against Covenant College on saturday afternoon. The game was played at musgrove Field.
The Scots struck first in the 27th minute as Micah Ballard found the back of the net. The score remained 1-0 until the 78th minute when sophomore forward, Ryan Cox, scored his first goal of the season to tie the game at 1-1.
The Panthers had several opportunities to take the lead in the final minutes, but the Scots’ defence held strong.
Junior goalkeeper, Nic hawthorne, recorded five saves in the contest.
The Panthers will be back in action on Friday, September 12th, as they travel to Methodist University for a 4 p.m. matchup.Next Game: Methodist university
