Mercedes Moné Set to Return to AEW Following European Tour
Mercedes Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE, is planning a return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) imminently, following the conclusion of her “Moné Madness” tour across Europe. Moné has been competing on the independent circuit while also making appearances for AEW.
Update from Moné
Speaking to Wrestling Time on Italian TV station IL61, Moné stated, “I’m returning [to AEW] really, really soon. But right now, I am on my Mone Madness Tour all over Europe. First, it started in Mexico, now here in Italy, next stop is Paris, then London, then Poland, then Winnipeg. After that, Mama is gonna return home.”[1]
Winnipeg and Championship Schedule
Moné’s tour schedule includes a Women’s Championship defense at WPW Fight at the Museum in Winnipeg on Tuesday, March 31st. AEW Dynamite is scheduled to accept place in Winnipeg the following night, suggesting a potential return to the promotion at that event.[4]
Current Championship Status
As of March 20, 2026, Moné currently holds five independent titles, though she has been relinquishing some during her European tour.[4]
Recent AEW History
Mercedes Moné’s AEW in-ring debut was against Willow Nightingale on December 31, 2025, in a TBS Championship match.[2] Nightingale ultimately ended Moné’s TBS Championship reign on January 1, 2026.[4] Nightingale is currently the AEW TBS Champion in her second reign and is also one-half of the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions.[1]
