In a video statement posted to his Instagram account, Rourke expressed frustration and confusion regarding the fundraiser. “Somebody set up some kind of foundation or fund for me, to donate money, like in a charity, and that’s not me,” he stated, adding, “If I needed money I wouldn’t ask for no f***ing charity.” [[3]] He emphasized that he did not authorize the campaign and found the situation “humiliating” and “embarrassing.”
