Moncrieff Announces Sold-Out Homecoming Shows in Waterford
Tramore native Moncrieff has sold out three upcoming concerts at The Haven hotel in Waterford, marking a return to his roots following a prosperous year. The shows, scheduled for December 9th, 10th, and 11th, are part of the “Homecoming” leg of his ireland, UK, and Europe tour.
This announcement follows a breakout year for the singer-songwriter, which included a Number 1 debut album in the Irish Charts with Maybe ItS Fine [https://www.officialcharts.com/charts/albums-chart/20230331/7503/], and headline performances at the Breakwater Festival in Wexford and the Docklands in Limerick earlier this summer.[https://www.breakwaterfestival.ie/lineup]
The Haven Hotel’s newly built venue will be transformed into an immersive experience celebrating Moncrieff’s Waterford heritage. The venue will feature personal items representing his life and career, including photos from his first gig at Sal’s on the Quay and jerseys from his hurling days with de La Salle and Butlerstown. Fans will be invited to contribute to the experience by adding their own memories via polaroid photos and personal messages on a dedicated wall.
Local Waterford musicians will join Moncrieff as guest performers throughout the three nights. Moreover, Moncrieff plans to professionally record the audio from these concerts for a future live release of maybe It’s Fine.
