Montana State Women’s Basketball Players Earn Academic All-District Honors
BOZEMAN, Mont. (March 24, 2026) – Four Montana State University women’s basketball players – Ella Johnson, Taylee Chirrick, Teagan Erickson, and Addison Harris – have been recognized for their academic achievements, earning CSC Academic All-District honors, as announced Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators.
To qualify for this recognition, student-athletes must be at least sophomores in eligibility and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher while participating in at least 90 percent of their team’s games or starting at least two-thirds of its contests.
Individual Achievements
Taylee Chirrick, a sophomore from Roberts, Montana, has not only excelled on the court, earning Substantial Sky Most Valuable Player and Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year honors this season, but also academically. She is second in Division I with 4.24 steals per game and averages 17.7 points per game, ranking second in the Big Sky Conference. Chirrick is also one of 96 student-athletes advancing to the national Academic All-America ballot, with voting conducted by CSC members.
Ella Johnson, a junior from Elk River, Minnesota, contributes 5.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, leading the Bobcats with an impressive 42 blocked shots.
Teagan Erickson averages 5.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.
Addison Harris, a First Team All-Big Sky selection, is a key offensive player for the Bobcats, scoring 13.8 points per game and adding 4.0 rebounds.
Looking Ahead
The CSC will announce the 2025-26 First, Second, and Third Team Academic All-Americas on April 15, 2026.
