Community Blood Drive Brings Vital Support to regional Supply

A recent blood donation drive held on Wednesday at the Carré du Perche proved a valuable contribution to the regional blood supply, facilitated by a partnership between the French Blood Establishment (EFS) and the dedicated volunteers of the Association of Mortagnais Blood Donors. The event, led by Association Chair Guy Maudet, followed closely on the heels of World Blood Donation Day, observed annually on June 14th.

Boosting Donations with Entertainment & community Spirit

Recognizing that a comfortable and engaging atmosphere can encourage participation, organizers enhanced the donor experience with lively entertainment. Local magician Valentin Chesne and author/storyteller Marie-France de monneron provided captivating performances,while the association’s youngest volunteer,five-year-old Liam,charmed attendees as the Globulon mascot.
