Shooting in North Portland Injures One, Examination Underway
Portland, OR – September 27, 2025 – One individual sustained a gunshot wound in North Portland Friday evening, prompting a police investigation and temporary closures of key transportation routes. The incident occurred shortly after 7:00 PM near the intersection of north Interstate Avenue and North Farragut street, according to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB).
Upon receiving reports of gunfire, officers were dispatched to the location and discovered a person suffering from a gunshot injury. Paramedics transported the injured individual to a local hospital via ambulance.
