Georgia won comfortably on Saturday, securing a 42-7 victory against Ole Miss to improve their record to 8-1 for the season.
The victory extended Georgia’s record in a season marked by resilience in the face of injuries.
For the second straight contest, standout cornerback Ellis Robinson IV was unable to finish the game, departing during the fourth quarter. Georgia coach Kirby Smart said it was Robinson’s “thigh, hip” when asked about why Robinson left the game, after he previously left the Florida game with a knee injury. Robinson recorded four tackles and a pass breakup while drawing a defensive pass interference penalty.

In the third quarter, Georgia saw defensive tackle Joshua Horton rolled up on when Trinidad Chambliss was sacked by Chris Cole. Wide receiver Craig Dandridge also left the game in the third quarter with a leg injury, according to a report from sideline reporter DJ Shockley.
“He’s dealing with a lower hamstring around his knee,” Smart said of Dandridge. “But he’s had it for two or three weeks and it’s bothered him some times.” Dandridge scored the game’s first touchdown on a speed sweep and drew a key pass interference penalty.
Dandridge entered the game as Georgia’s leading receiver, but Talyn Taylor surpassed him on the night with a 140-yard effort. Wide receiver Isiah Canion returned to action after not playing since the Arkansas game, finishing without a catch on his lone target.
Tight end Elyiss Williams, running back Chauncey Bowens, and wide receiver Thomas Blackshear suited up but did not see the field. Defensive back Tyriq Green with an ankle injury, defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye with an undisclosed issue, and linebacker AJ Kruah with an undisclosed issue were ruled out prior to kickoff.

Georgia returns to action next Saturday against Missouri, with the game set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ABC.
