NFL Stars to Compete in NBA All-Star Celebrity Game
Detroit Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and los Angeles Chargers receiver keenan Allen will trade their helmets for jerseys as they participate in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.The game, a highlight of All-star Weekend, will be held in Los Angeles, offering a homecoming for both players.
St. Brown, a Southern California native and USC alumnus, recently completed his fourth consecutive 1,000-yard season, recording 117 catches for 1,401 yards and 11 touchdowns. Despite individual success and a Pro Bowl invitation, his Lions team missed the playoffs.
Allen, who also played college football in California for Cal, returned to the Chargers after a season with the Chicago Bears and led the team with 81 receptions for 777 yards and 4 touchdowns. Currently a free agent, Allen’s 2023 season concluded with a playoff loss.
The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is scheduled for Friday, February 13th, kicking off the All-Star Weekend festivities.
