A total of 592 out of 1,088 candidates passed the Chemists Licensure Examination, while 2,110 out of 2,711 candidates passed the Chemical Technicians Licensure Examination. These exams were administered in various testing centers across the Philippines, including NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
Leading the Board of Chemistry were Hon. Adoracion P. Resurreccion, Chairman, Hon. Soledad S. Castañeda, Member, and Hon. Ma. Theresa C. Cayton, Member.
Results were released just three working days after the last exam date, allowing successful examinees to start planning for the next steps.
Registration for Professional Identification Cards (IDs) and Certificates of Registration begins December 20, 2024, online via www.prc.gov.ph. Successful examinees need to bring specific documents, including a downloaded Oath Form, notice of admission, passport-sized photos, documentary stamps, and a brown envelope.
Good news for those who passed the Chemists Licensure Examination, but didn’t achieve the passing score: you can register as Chemical Technicians if you scored at least 70% in two subjects.
Details regarding the oathtaking ceremony for new professionals will be announced soon.
