The current warm episode with temperatures more typical of the end of August than the beginning of October will intensify this Friday with a new thermal rebound that will take the thermometers to 38 degrees in the Guadalquivir and Guadiana valleys.
The prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet)collected by Servimedia, indicates that temperatures will increase in the northern third and the peninsular Mediterranean provinces, as well as in the western islands of Canary Islandswhile they will descend in the east of the Canary archipelago.
The thermometers will show markedly high values for the season in most of the peninsula and in the Canary Islands, so that there will be between 34 and 36 degrees on the southern Atlantic slope and this archipelago, even locally exceeding 38 in the Guadalquivir and Guadiana.
However, the Aemet has activated the yellow warning – risk for outdoor activities – for at least 34 degrees throughout the Canary Islands except the summits and the east of The Palmthe north of Tenerife and the summits of Gran Canaria.
It will be warmer in Badajoz (38 degrees), Córdoba and Seville (37), and Granada and Jaén (35), while it will be milder in Santander (23) and A Coruña, Ceuta, Oviedo and San Sebastián (25).
