A shooting in North Omaha late Wednesday night sent one woman to the hospital and caused significant damage to a residence and several vehicles. The incident occurred near 32nd and Ames Avenue, prompting a large police response and a continuing investigation.
Police were called to the scene around 11:30 PM on August 25,2025,following reports of gunfire.Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was immediately transported to a local hospital; her condition is currently listed as stable. Details regarding the extent of her injuries haven’t been released.
The shooting wasn’t confined to the individual. Multiple vehicles parked in the area sustained damage from gunfire. A house also bore the marks of the shooting, with several bullet holes visible.
