Paris Hilton to Confront Sex Tape adn Trauma in New Documentary, ‘Infinite Icon’

Paris Hilton is set to delve into deeply personal and often traumatic experiences in her upcoming documentary, Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir, releasing January 30th. Teh film will explore the impact of a 2001 sex tape leak, her experiences at troubled teen schools, and how music has served as a coping mechanism throughout her life and career.

In a 2021 interview with Vanity Fair, Hilton described the sex tape as “something that will hurt me for the rest of my life.” She explained, “It was a private experience between two people… to have your trust betrayed like that and for the whole world to be watching and laughing… It was even more hurtful to me to have these people think that I did this on purpose – that killed me. It still gives me post-traumatic stress disorder to talk about it.”

Infinite Icon will coincide with the release of Hilton’s 2024 album of the same name, and features her recent single “I’m Free” with Rina Sawayama. The documentary will also address the misogynistic media portrayal Hilton faced and her allegations of abuse at several troubled teen facilities. She testified before Congress in 2023 about the abuse she and others endured at these schools, advocating for increased protections for vulnerable youth.

Hilton has previously detailed alleged abuse at these facilities, including a Utah boarding school, in interviews and public statements.
