PepsiCo Ireland Donates €10,000 to Cork Penny Dinners

Volunteers at Cork Penny Dinners, one of Cork’s oldest charities, are celebrating a generous donation of €10,000 from PepsiCo Ireland.

Celebrating 50 Years in Cork

The donation is part of PepsiCo’s 50for50 campaign, which marks the company’s 50th anniversary in Cork. As part of the celebration, employees were encouraged to support Cork Penny Dinners’ call for back-to-school supplies.

Back-to-School Support

PepsiCo employees generously donated 150 school bags, pencil cases, and other essential items to help children in need prepare for the new academic year.

This act of kindness is just the latest example of PepsiCo’s commitment to Cork Penny Dinners. The two organizations have enjoyed a long-standing partnership, with PepsiCo teams regularly volunteering their time and resources to support the charity’s vital work.

“Their support is of absolutely invaluable help to our Little Hanover St charity. They do more than just volunteer; they give us their friendship and their kindness, and we’re so glad that they are part of the Penny Dinners family,” Ms. Twomey said.
