Pertamina Tankers Exit Middle East Conflict Zone, Ensuring Indonesian Energy Security

Jakarta – PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) has successfully navigated two of its oil tankers, PIS Rinjani and PIS Paragon, out of conflict zones in the Middle East, safeguarding Indonesia’s national energy supply. Two additional vessels, VLCC Pertamina Pride and Gamsunoro, remain in the Arabian Gulf and are being closely monitored.

Evacuation of PIS Rinjani and PIS Paragon

According to a statement released on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, the PIS Rinjani was previously anchored in Khor Fakkan, United Arab Emirates, while the PIS Paragon was discharging cargo in Oman when regional tensions escalated. Both vessels have now safely resumed their voyages [1].

Remaining Vessels in the Arabian Gulf
