Pink to Guest Host “The Kelly Clarkson Show” During Women’s History Month
As Kelly Clarkson prepares to conclude her daytime talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” after seven seasons, Grammy-winning artist Pink will take the stage as guest host for a week of special episodes celebrating Women’s History Month.
Celebrating Women’s Achievements
Beginning March 2, Pink will helm the NBC daytime show, steering episodes designed to “celebrate women’s achievements, resilience and impact across music, culture and community,” according to NBC’s press release USA Today. The episodes will feature conversations with trailblazers in entertainment and everyday individuals making a difference.
A Full Circle Moment for Pink and Clarkson
Pink kicked off her hosting stint with a duet alongside her 14-year-old daughter, Willow, performing “Hopeless War” from The Outsiders for the show’s signature “Kellyoke” segment. Willow also enjoyed a backstage tour of the Broadway musical “Ragtime!”
Clarkson expressed her enthusiasm for Pink’s guest hosting role, stating, “The only thing that bums me out about Pink hosting a week of ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ is that I’m not going to be able to be there to watch her,” USA Today reported. “I have been a fan for so long and have always been inspired by her music and her person. I love her!”
Pink echoed Clarkson’s sentiments, sharing, “I’ve played stadiums and danced on the side of buildings, but stepping in to guest host for my girl Kelly Clarkson is a brand new feat!” People reported. “Let’s celebrate women, joy, resilience and whatever comes else comes our way!”
Clarkson’s Farewell Season
Pink’s guest hosting comes as Clarkson prepares to end “The Kelly Clarkson Show” with its seventh season. Clarkson announced her departure in February, citing a desire to prioritize time with her children, River Rose, 11, and Remy, 9, following the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, in August 2025 USA Today.
“This was not an easy decision — but this season will be my last,” Clarkson wrote in an Instagram post. “Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this chapter of our lives.”
How to Watch
Pink’s episodes as guest host will air weekdays on NBC from March 2-6. Episodes will also be available to stream on Peacock USA Today.
