brad Pitt’s Plan B Launches European Branch in London
– Brad Pitt‘s production company is growing its global reach with a new London office,aiming to create more high-quality TV series.
Brad Pitt‘s production company Plan B, led by Dede Gardner adn Jeremy Kleiner and part of the Mediawan Group since 2022, is launching a European subsidiary, Plan B Europe, in London. Acclaimed British producer Ed Macdonald will lead the new branch.
This move shows Plan B wants to significantly increase its production of premium television series in the UK and across Europe. Macdonald, previously an executive producer at Clerkenwell Films, has a strong history of success.He’s known for Netflix’s hit Baby Reindeer, which won Golden Globe and Emmy awards, the BAFTA-winning Channel 4 series the End of the F***ing World, and the upcoming adaptation of Nick Cave‘s novel The Death of Bunny Munro for Sky.
Macdonald will oversee television development in Europe,working with Nina Wolarsky,Plan B’s head of television in the US. With support from Plan B’s leadership and Mediawan, the subsidiary will speed up co-productions between the USA and Europe.It will also focus on creative collaboration and new ways to finance projects, positioning London as a key link between the American and European film industries.
