Wave FC Supports Community with Playground Resurfacing at Memorial Community Park

Wave FC, San Diego’s professional women’s soccer team, recently partnered with the City of San Diego’s parks and Recreation Department to revitalize the playground at Memorial Community Park. The project, completed in early October 2024, provides a safe and modern play space for children in the surrounding area and demonstrates Wave FC’s commitment to community impact. The resurfacing project addressed the need for updated and safer play equipment at the popular park, which serves as a hub for recreation and community gatherings. During a celebratory event following the completion of the project, students from the adjacent Logan Memorial educational Complex where among the first to enjoy the new playground and other park amenities.
