The first day of the Positivus Festival in Riga concluded without any major security incidents,according to a statement released by the State Police (VP) on August 9,2025. Police confirmed that individuals were apprehended for the unauthorized possession and use of both narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Of particular concern, authorities reported an incident involving an individual operating an electric scooter while under the influence of alcohol.
