Historical Lessons and National Unity
During the inauguration ceremony in Cimahi on Friday, October 30, 2026, President Prabowo emphasized the importance of historical awareness for the younger generation. Those who are lazy to learn history will be punished by history. This is a lesson of thousands of years,
he stated, as reported by Kompas. He pointed to the historical vulnerability of Indonesia during the colonial era, attributing past subjugation to a lack of internal unity. Noting that Our predecessors had many achievements, but we learned from their shortcomings,
he urged listeners not to repeat past errors. He further warned against ideologies prioritizing specific group interests over the nation and added, So, believe in the great power of the Republic of Indonesia. We are vigilant now, and we will address all these issues effectively.

The President also linked the ethos of the school to the foundational pledges of the 1928 Youth Pledge (Youth Pledge), reminding students that national strength relies on preserving the principles of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity) across different ethnicities, religions, and cultures.
Administrative Support and Future Expectations
Addressing the faculty, staff, and students, President Prabowo stressed character over mere academic intelligence. Instead of hundreds of smart people, give the state young men and women who are honest, pure in heart, and full of love for the homeland, only then will we succeed as a nation and state,
he said, according to CNN Indonesia. He told the students, I believe you will do your best, you will learn your best, you will take the values from SMA Taruna Nusantara.
Additionally, President Prabowo cautioned, Corruption, embezzlement, abuse of authority are truly the beginning of the destruction of the nation.

Minister Coordinator for Human Development and Culture and Head of LPTTN Sugiono delivered an official report during the event, expressing gratitude for the presidential backing of the institution. The Taruna Nusantara High School campus is dedicated to the future of our nation and state. And we hope that we, the sons and daughters of Taruna Nusantara, can continue to carry out the mandate entrusted to us by the birth of this beloved campus.
he stated, as noted by Kompas.id.
