Prince Andrew’s Security Detail Guarded Epstein’s Home, Emails Reveal
Recent disclosures of emails from 2010 reveal that Metropolitan Police officers, assigned to protect Prince Andrew, were instructed to provide security at Jeffrey Epstein’s Novel York home, including during a dinner party. The revelations come amid ongoing scrutiny of Prince Andrew’s relationship with the convicted sex offender and following the Duke’s arrest in February 2026 on suspicions of misconduct in public office related to his ties with Epstein.
Arrangements for Security at Epstein’s Residence
The emails, released by the US Department of Justice, detail arrangements for Prince Andrew to stay at Epstein’s New York property in December 2010. Andrew’s private secretary inquired about the address and requested accommodation for both of his protection officers.
Internal correspondence among Epstein’s staff confirmed that space was available for the officers, with one assigned to the 4th floor and another to the 5th floor. The emails also indicate that Andrew and his security detail were provided with a temporary security code for access to the property.
