Prince William Breaks Silence on Estranged Brother Harry in New Documentary

Prince William has spoken publicly about his relationship with estranged brother Prince Harry in a new documentary focusing on homelessness. The documentary, titled Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, is set to air in the UK this week.

William and Harry’s relationship has been strained since Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle in 2018. Harry detailed their conflicts in his memoir, “Spare,” revealing a rift that has left the brothers largely silent with each other. Their last known interaction was at their grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021.

Despite attending the funeral of their uncle Lord Fellowes together in Norfolk, England, earlier this year, there were no reports of the brothers speaking.

In a newly released clip from the documentary, William reflects on a childhood visit to The Passage, a charity supporting homeless people, with his mother, Princess Diana. He recalls the experience vividly:

“My mother took me to The Passage; she took Harry and I both there. I must have been 11 at the time, maybe 10. I had never been to anything like that before, and I was a bit anxious about what to expect.”

The documentary follows William’s journey as he co-founds Homewards, a new initiative partnering with other charities to address the growing issue of homelessness in the UK.
