Princess Mabel of Orange-Nassau, born Mabel Martine Los on August 11, 1968, is a Dutch humanitarian known for her dedication to human rights and her connection to the Dutch Royal Family as the widow of Prince Friso and sister-in-law of King Willem-Alexander.

Marriage to Prince Friso
On April 24, 2004, Mabel Wisse Smit married Prince Johan Friso of the Netherlands in Delft The Royal Watcher. The couple chose not to seek parliamentary approval for their marriage, a decision that resulted in Prince Friso relinquishing his place in the line of succession to the throne and ceasing to be a member of the Royal House Royal House of the Netherlands. Family Life
