Argentine Singer L-Gante Hospitalized After Four-Wheeler Accident: A Cautionary Tale in Safety
Argentine artist Elián Valenzuela, better known as L-Gante, required hospitalization after a four-wheeler accident last week in Pinamar, a popular coastal city in Argentina. The incident, which took place on a beach, saw L-Gante lose control of the UTV, causing him to be ejected and sustain a fractured clavicle.
Emergency services transported L-Gante to a local health center where he remained under observation. Television program LAM provided further details, stating he was not traveling at high speeds but lost control while looking at the vehicle. The program also pointed a verbal gun toward L-Gante’s partner, Wanda Nara, saying, “May your daughter wear a helmet because we have an image of the child. Don’t be reckless, Wanda,” referencing a photo of Nara’s daughter engaged in a similar activity.
LAM further described the aftermath, explaining, "He couldn’t get up. L-Gante, when he gets up, realizes that he was fractured and couldn’t bear more pain. Obviously, Wanda with the truck took him to the public hospital." They also added context about the location, noting, "What happens is that Pinamar has that border area that is quite complicated, there are enough problems.”
Neither L-Gante nor Nara has publicly commented on the accident. However, Nara recently posted photos of her children engaging in similar activities to the one L-Gante was involved in. This isn’t his first accident in recent months—last year, he was involved in a truck rollover on Buenos Aires’ General Paz Avenue while en route to a television appearance, but escaped unharmed.
Despite this setback, the couple recently shared happy news on social media. L-Gante posted on his Instagram stories, “New baby,” alongside a picture of himself and Nara with a white puppy, announcing the new addition to their family.
Interestingly, L-Gante recently appeared on Mirtha Legrand‘s program, where he discussed his relationship with Nara. While expressing his happiness, he stated, “It is indeed quite early for the moment to make that decision. But I am very much in love. We let it flow and the feeling will achieve everything.” He added, “We get along excellent, we are for each other,” clarifying that marriage is not currently in their plans.
The accident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of safety precautions, particularly when operating vehicles in potentially challenging environments. The full extent of L-Gante’s injuries and recovery timeline remain to be seen.
