Rassell and Sabine Berezina Release New Single "Storm"

Latvian musicians Rassell, also known as Ruslans Kuksinovičs, and Sabīne Berezina have released a new collaborative single titled “Storm” (“Storm”) alongside a self-directed music video. The new release is available to stream on YouTube, Spotify, and other major music streaming platforms.

The Musical Style and Themes of “Vētra”

The song’s musical sound is inspired by turn-of-the-millennium pop music and the so-called Timbaland era, combining the characteristic rhythm and energy of that time with modern production. Rassell serves as the author of the music, lyrics, and production, blending nostalgic pop vibes with an up-to-date sound.

According to the creators, “Storm” tells a story about complex relationships, painful words, and powerful feelings that do not disappear even during moments of silence between two people. “These are moments when every word can become a reason for a new conflict, but even when everything seemingly collapses, the desire to be together does not disappear,” explains the author regarding relationships where love alternates with pain, misunderstandings, and unspoken thoughts.

Behind the Scenes of the Music Video

Alongside the single, a brand-new music video has been launched, for which Rassell handled the direction, production, editing, and post-production entirely on his own. Diverging from previous artistic choices, the visual project refrains from luxury cars and grand frames from America or resorts, opting instead for beautiful dancers and branded clothing, alongside a notable hat worn by Ruslans featuring the name of the heavy metal band “Iron Maiden”.

The visual production team supporting the project included Kaspars Kambars, who took care of the video camera work, and Laura Strazdiņa, who designed the choreography for the dancers.
