RayNeo Raises the Bar at CES 2025 with Trio of Cutting-Edge AR Glasses

Las Vegas – RayNeo, a subsidiary of display giant TCL, stole the show at CES 2025 with a groundbreaking trio of augmented reality (AR) glasses: the X3 Pro, Air 3, and V3. Scheduled to hit retail shelves by mid-2025, these sleek wearables push the boundaries of smart eyewear, combining blazing-fast processing, vibrant micro LED displays, and AI-powered features for a truly immersive experience.

Leading the charge is the X3 Pro, RayNeo’s flagship offering and a testament to miniaturization. Clocking in at under 85 grams, this powerhouse packs Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 processor and boasts the world’s smallest mass-produced micro-LED optics. The crystal-clear binocular display, capable of reaching a staggering 2,500 nits of brightness, promises unparalleled visual clarity even in direct sunlight. Further enhancing its capabilities, the X3 Pro incorporates dual cameras, opening doors to advanced AI applications and environmental sensing, setting a new benchmark for smart glasses.

For users seeking a blend of style and performance, the Air 3 presents a compelling option. Featuring innovative Birdbath optics alongside a dimming function, this model delivers a breathtaking contrast ratio of 200,000:1, ensuring rich and vibrant visuals. An integrated four-speaker system with a double acoustic chamber takes audio to new heights, creating a truly immersive soundscape.

Content creators will find their match in the V3, a featherlight powerhouse designed for capturing high-quality photos and videos. Weighing just 39 grams, it rivals wearable devices from the likes of Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses. Equipped with a 12 MP Sony IMX681 sensor featuring HDR and optical image stabilization, the V3 ensures sharp, stable images. Three directional microphones further elevate its capabilities, allowing for professional-grade audio recording.

While pricing details remain under wraps, RayNeo has confirmed the X3 Pro and Air 3 will be available in mid-2025, followed by the V3 later in the year.

With a $150,000 developer fund designed to spark innovation and proprietary tools for developers, RayNeo is actively fostering a vibrant ecosystem for its expanding AR platform.

The display glasses market is rapidly expanding, with RazerNeo and Xreal making strides in blurring the lines between augmented reality and smart glasses. These devices serve as extensions to smartphones or other digital devices, while also offering basic AR functionalities in specific use cases.

Lenovo has also entered the fray with its Legion Glasses 2, launched at CES 2025. Priced at $399, these glasses feature full HD displays, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of brightness. Xreal continues to innovate with its One Pro, incorporating native 3-DoF tracking and the company’s first internally developed X1 chip.

Driven by advancements in lightweight materials, powerful processing, and captivating display technologies, wearable technology is steadily becoming an integral part of our lives. RayNeo’s latest offerings solidify its position as a visionary leader in this rapidly evolving space, paving the way for a future where the lines between the physical and digital worlds blur seamlessly.
