Renosem to Showcase Advanced Sterilization Technology at KIMES 2026
Renosem, a specialist in infection control solutions, will exhibit at the 41st Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2026) in Seoul from March 19th to 22nd, 2026, aiming to expand its global market presence with its next-generation low-temperature plasma sterilizer, ‘RENO-S PLUS’.
RENO-S PLUS: A Next-Generation Sterilizer
The RENO-S PLUS is a key product for Renosem, designed to address limitations found in existing sterilization technology. A significant improvement is the implementation of a ‘dry pump’ – a system that doesn’t utilize oil – to overcome issues with moisture vulnerability common in traditional oil pumps. This enhancement is expected to increase the durability of the equipment and reduce operational costs for medical facilities by eliminating the need for periodic oil and filter replacements.
Smart Technologies for Safety and Efficiency
Beyond sterilization performance, the RENO-S PLUS incorporates several smart technologies focused on user safety and convenience. A real-time hydrogen peroxide concentration monitoring function prevents user exposure risks. The system similarly features an intelligent sterilization process that detects residual moisture before sterilization and automatically dries instruments, significantly lowering sterilization failure rates.
Digital Integration and Remote Monitoring
The RENO-S PLUS is integrated with ‘Reno Smart Care’, a network-based remote monitoring system, supporting the digital transformation (DX) of infection control within medical institutions.
Global Recognition and Certifications
Renosem’s technology has achieved international recognition, with the RENO-S PLUS receiving the stringent European CE MDR certification. It has also been approved for use with the endoscope of the ‘da Vinci surgical robot’, a precision medical device, demonstrating its adherence to global standards and bolstering its export potential. KIMES serves as a platform for showcasing these advancements.
Expanding the Product Lineup at KIMES 2026
At KIMES 2026, Renosem will also present its existing RENO-S 130 and S90 models, alongside the BLUNIX 60 – a compact washer/disinfector that combines cleaning, disinfection, and drying into a single process – offering a comprehensive infection control solution.
“S PLUS is the culmination of Renosem’s R&D capabilities, and is a model that satisfies all the requirements of the global market: economics, safety, and convenience,” said Gwang-sik Lee, CEO of Renosem. “We will solidify our brand position in the global infection control market based on the high repurchase rate and reliability proven in the domestic market.”
KIMES 2026 will be held at COEX in Seoul, South Korea, from March 19th to 22nd, 2026. More information about the event can be found on the Showsbee website.
