Reshaping of the French Government: Macron pleads for the "effectiveness" and the "continuity"

The French President, Emmanuel Macronjustified on Friday his choice to remodel so measured the cabinet of ministers, advocating that he favored “continuity and effectiveness” and promising a “deep response” to the unrest that have shaken the country.

Macron, who spoke this Friday in a televised speech to present the first Council of Ministers of the remodeled Government the day before, stated “clearly” his “trust” in the prime minister, Elisabeth Borne.

“I have opted for continuity and efficiency for the times that await us,” claimed the head of state to justify his choice, to Half way between a single adjustment and a change of government.
