Valdez García was previously serving as the Subsecretary of Planning for the state’s education department. Miguel Ángel Valdez García brings over 30 years of experience to the role. He holds a doctorate in Innovation and Educational Technology from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, as well as a master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Cognitive Development, as well from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He also earned a degree in Education Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, and a degree in Education with a specialization in Language and Literature from the Normal Superior de Escuelas Particulares.
