Chérie 25, broadcast on TNT channel 25, will give way to RMC Life from October 1. What will this new channel offer from Wednesday?

Last hours for Chérie 25. The chain will disappear Tuesday evening following the sale by the NRJ group, its owner. Chérie FM was bought by CMA Média, the group that owns BFMTV, RMC, Provence, the platform and gross. From Wednesday, October 1, Canal 25 will take the name of RMC Life.

RMC Life will be a chain dedicated to women.And to embody this positioning, she recruited several known faces from the small screen. This is the case of Estelle Denis, already on the air at noon on the radio on RMC. she will relaunch “It is discussed”, the issue of company debates created by Jean-Luc Delarue. RMC Life also brought Cristina Cordula who was no longer on the air on M6. The famous Brazilian host will resume “hand -sewn” wich she had presented between 2014 and 2017.

RMC Life Channel Launches September 30th, 2025, Targeting Women and Families

RMC Life, a new free-to-air television channel, is set to launch on September 30th, 2025, replacing Chérie 25 on the TNT network. The channel, owned by the RMC group (formerly Radio Monte Carlo), aims to be “inspiring and positive, turned towards conviviality and well-being, for women and families.” This marks the third channel to bear the RMC name, joining RMC Story (general entertainment) and RMC Découverte (documentaries). No adjustments to television sets are needed to receive the new channel.

Programming Highlights:

RMC Life’s programming will feature a diverse lineup, including:

* Morning Show: “Good Morning Buisness” hosted by Laure closier, currently airing on BFM Business.
* Popular Series: Reruns of well-known French series such as “7 at Home” (“Sept à la maison”), “Cold Case: Classified Business” (“Cold Case: Affaires classées”), “Alice Nevers: The Judge is a Woman” (“Alice nevers: Le juge est une femme”), and “Castle.”
* New faces & Programs: The channel has recruited Karine Ferri, formerly of TF1, to host programs reflecting her personal style. Salhia Brakhlia, previously known for her interviews on France Info, will led a series of documentaries focusing on prominent women.

Background & Transition:

The launch of RMC Life follows the NRJ Group’s decision to withdraw from free television after losing the license for its channel NRJ12 earlier in 2025. NRJ Group originally launched Chérie 25 to target a female audience, mirroring its Cherie FM radio station.
