Roz Purcell Marries Zach Desmond in Intimate Dublin Ceremony

Irish model and 2FM presenter Rozanna Purcell has married her partner, Zach Desmond, in a private ceremony at Dublin City Hall. The couple, who have been together since 2016 and engaged since August 2023, shared the news on Monday evening via Instagram.

A Private Celebration

Purcell announced the marriage with a post featuring photos from the day, simply stating, “We’re married.” The ceremony was described as intimate, reflecting the couple’s preference for a low-key celebration.

Industry Congratulations

The announcement quickly garnered congratulations from fellow Irish broadcasters, including Miriam O’Callaghan, who commented, “Huge congratulations to you both – you both appear wonderful and so happy, and you look truly magnificent.” Laura Fox also extended her well wishes.

Previous Statements on Wedding Plans

In November, Purcell revealed to the Irish Independent that she had created her wedding invitations using Canva and distributed them via WhatsApp. She also stated their intention to forgo traditional gifts, acknowledging the financial burden weddings can place on guests.

Purcell’s Diverse Career

Rozanna Purcell, 35, rose to prominence after winning Miss Universe Ireland in 2010 and representing Ireland at the Miss Universe competition. Beyond her modeling career, she is a published author, with three cookbooks and two books focused on hiking in Ireland to her name. Her book, The Hike Life: My 50 Favourite Hikes in Ireland, won Lifestyle Book of the Year at the 2023 Irish Book Awards. She recently released a follow-up, The Hike Life: 50 More to Explore, which was shortlisted for an Irish Book Award in 2024.
