RTÉ Choice Music Prize 2026: Celebrating Irish Music
The RTÉ Choice Music Prize, marking its 20th anniversary, will be presented live at Vicar Street in Dublin on Thursday, March 5th, 2026. The event will recognize outstanding achievements in Irish music, with the winning album announced during a special four-hour extended reveal on RTÉ 2FM with Beta Da Silva from 7-11pm [1].
A Legacy of Championing Homegrown Talent
Established in 2005, the RTÉ Choice Music Prize has become a cornerstone in celebrating Irish music. Over the past two decades, the prize has shortlisted 200 albums and honored 20 winning artists, including SOAK, Jape, The Divine Comedy, CMAT, Lankum, Adrian Crowley, Villagers, The Gloaming and Denise Chaila [1]. The prize continues to play a vital role in supporting and promoting Irish musicians.
Awards to be Presented
