Latvian musician Kaspars Bindemanis has teamed up with the group Ryga for a Spanish-language rendition of their popular song “Say You Love Me Now.” The updated version, titled “Dime que me amas ya,” has been featured on the soundtrack of the Andalusian film Magdalena’s Land.

A Decade After Their First Collaboration

Almost ten years after their initial partnership, Ryga and Bindemanis have revisited their successful collaboration. The original “Say You Love Me Now” was a chart-topping hit in Latvia, earning the title of Radio SWH’s Song of the Year No. 1. Radio SWH continues to feature Bindemanis’ function and updates on his career.

Adapting to a New Audience

The song has been adapted for Spanish and Latin American audiences, blending Mārcis Judzis’ synth-pop base with Bindemanis’ Spanish influence. As described by those involved, this combination creates a sound “closer to the hot Mediterranean climate.”

Both Artists Now Based in Spain

Both Ryga’s leader, Mārcis Judzis, and Kaspars Bindemanis are currently residing in Spain. LA.LV reports on this renewed collaboration and the artists’ move to Spain.
