Samsung Electronics has announced its Team samsung Galaxy athletes for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. The team comprises 68 athletes from 17 countries, competing in both Olympic and Paralympic disciplines, all chosen for embodying openness in their personal and athletic journeys.

Building on its debut at Paris 2024, Samsung’s “Open always wins” theme returns for the Winter Games, reflecting the company’s belief that an open mindset unlocks potential. Team Samsung Galaxy athletes will share their stories, demonstrating how openness influences their lives and careers, and connecting with fans worldwide (Samsung Newsroom).

Athletes Embodied Openness
The Team Samsung Galaxy roster showcases diversity across nine winter sports – snowboarding, speed skating, skiing, bobsleigh, cross-country skiing, and others – highlighting creativity, expression, and performance under pressure.

Notable athletes include Olympic freestyle skiing champion Alex Hall (USA),freestyle skiers Miro and Flora Tabanelli (ITA),snowboarding innovator ian Matteoli (ITA),speed skating champion Minjeong Choi (KOR),freestyle skiing World Champion Zoe Atkin (GB),and two-time snowboarding Olympic gold medalist Anna Gasser (AUT).Alpine skiing depiction includes Paralympic champion Arthur Bauchet (FRA) and experienced athlete Adam Žampa (SVK), while figure skating stars alysa Liu (USA) and Ilia Malinin (USA) also join the team.

Mike Schultz (Para Snowboarder, USA): Exemplifies reinvention, engineering his own prosthetic after an accident to continue competing at an elite level.

Alex Hall (Freestyle Skier, USA): Blends athleticism with artistic expression through ski filmmaking, pushing boundaries in both sports and creativity.
Minjeong Choi (Speed Skater, South Korea): Inspires through sustained excellence and adaptability, serving as a role model for future generations.

Samsung’s Continued Olympic Partnership
