On Friday, November 7, shortly before 8:30 a.m., deputies from the Poway Sheriff’s Station responded to reports of a collision near the intersection of Twin Peaks Road adn Espola Road in Poway, California. A 12-year-old juvenile was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Twin Peaks Road.

Vehicle Strikes Juvenile in Poway

Witnesses at the scene reported observing the juvenile running across a section of the roadway not designated for pedestrian crossing. The vehicle involved was traveling westbound on Twin Peaks road at the time of the collision.

Injuries and Hospitalization
