The acting President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, attended this Friday, accompanying his wife, Begoña Gómez, to the fashion show by designer Hannibal Laguna where he saw the new collection in the front row, after speaking at the Resilient EU2030 forum organized by the CEOE employers’ association.
Sánchez, as on his previous visit, has heard shouts of “Get out!” and some boos by some attendees at the beginning and end of the parade.
This is the second time that Sánchez attends a parade in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid -in February he attended the presentation of Teresa Helbig’s collection-, a gesture that the creators consider to be supportive of Spanish fashion.
During the parade, the president shared an animated chat with his wife and the designer’s mother, Carmenwho were commenting on the designs that were paraded at each moment, proposals that he applauded once they were finished
