Sanremo 2026: A Night of Music, Competition, and Bocelli’s Grand Finale
The fifth and final evening of the Sanremo 2026 music festival is set to unfold tonight, culminating in the announcement of the winning artist. The event, broadcast live on Rai 1 at 8:40 PM, will feature performances by the remaining 30 artists and a special guest appearance by Andrea Bocelli.
Hosts and Guests
Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini will once again lead the evening’s proceedings, joined by co-hosts Giorgia Cardinaletti and Nino Frassica. The evening will too include a performance by Pooh, hosted by Daniele Battaglia, and a live connection with Max Pezzali and the Suzuki Stage in Piazza Colombo.
Voting Process
The outcome of Sanremo 2026 will be determined by a combination of voting methods:
- Televoting: Accounting for 34% of the final result.
- Press Room, TV, and Web Jury: Contributing 33% to the vote.
- Radio Jury: Also representing 33% of the final result.
The initial voting will establish a ranking, leading to the announcement of the top 5 artists. A subsequent vote, utilizing the same weighting for each voting segment, will then determine the ultimate winner of the Sanremo 2026 competition.
Awards
Beyond the grand prize, the Sanremo 2026 final will also recognize excellence in songwriting with awards for Best Lyrics and Best Musical Composition. The Critics’ Award will also be presented during the evening.
