Pococo Galaxy Star Projector Falls to $79.99 in Early Black Friday Sale
The Pococo Galaxy Star Projector is on sale for $79.99 on Amazon, marking a 24 percent discount off its retail price and hitting its lowest price of the year, Space reported. The home planetarium has gathered nearly 3,000 Amazon reviews and holds a 62 percent five-star rating, securing a permanent spot on buyer’s guides as a value choice. Tantse Walter, a contributing writer for Space, reviewed the device and noted its cord-free convenience, pointing out that an integrated battery charges via standard USB-C so users can move it easily without a wall tether. Recycled plastics make up the chassis construction, and the interface consists of three buttons for power, rotation, and an auto-shutoff sleep timer.
Optical Discs and Themed Expansion Packs Drive Stargazing Performance
Unlike novelty lasers, the Pococo projector uses swappable optical discs to cast snapshots of the cosmos across walls and ceiling surfaces. Two discs come in the box, while optional expansion packs covering the moon and stars, fixed stars and nebulas, and immersive planets are currently on sale for $43.19 down from $53.99, according to Space. The device weighs 1.7 pounds, measures 6.2 by 4.7 by 4.7 inches, and projects across a maximum area of 39 by 39 feet. Space noted that the unit matches the functionality and imagery quality of more expensive rivals like the Homestar Flux, which is currently priced at $259 on Amazon.
