Seamus Mohan, a beloved father, granda, and brother, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, at South West Acute Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was known for his warmth, his kindness, and his strong community ties in Tattenaheglish, Fivemiletown.
Remembering Seamus Mohan
Seamus Mohan was a cherished member of the community in Tattenaheglish. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Born and raised in Tattenaheglish, Seamus was a son of the late Tommy and Mary Mohan. He was predeceased by his wife Marian (nee McGlone) and his niece Colleen, who he deeply loved.
Family and Legacy
Seamus is survived by his two sons, Ryan (Louise) and Thomas, and his adored grandchildren, Michael and Grace. He was a devoted brother to Carmel McKenna (Benny) and Geraldine Boyle (Jimmy). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a wide circle of friends who considered him a true friend.
Funeral Arrangements
Seamus will repose at his home on Saturday, February 1st, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The family kindly requests privacy at other times. A shuttle bus service will be provided from McGirrs Fuel’s yard to the family home.
Removal will be on Sunday morning at 9.15 am to arrive at St.Joseph’s Church, Coonian for a 10:00 am funeral Mass. Burial will take place afterward in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, can be made in Seamus’s memory to the Renal Unit Omagh via Paul Mohan, undertaker, or any family member.
