Seven Seas Entertainment Expands Boys’ Love Manga Lineup with Three Recent Licenses
Seven Seas Entertainment announced the acquisition of three new Boys’ Love (BL) manga titles at Citrus Con 2026, bolstering its Seven Seas BL Label. The licenses, revealed on Sunday, include titles by Hayate Kuku and Iroha Megu, with release dates slated for November and December 2026.
Stranger: A Western BL
Stranger: A Western BL, created by Hayate Kuku (known for BLACK BLOOD and Yoichi & Tsugumo), is a one-shot manga set in the Wild West. Seven Seas Entertainment will release the English language edition in November 2026 in a large-trim book format, with a digital ebook also available.
Synopsis: Fran finds himself stranded in the wilderness after a failed cargo escort. Rescued by a native named Toto, the two struggle to communicate verbally, but a connection forms. The story explores the burgeoning feelings between them as Fran seeks a way to express his gratitude—and whether that gratitude masks deeper desires.
Marchen
Also by Hayate Kuku, Marchen is a fantastical Boys Love manga. The English edition will be released in December 2026 as part of the Seven Seas BL Label, available in both large-trim book and ebook formats. Anime News Network reports this is a new addition to the publisher’s growing BL catalog.
Synopsis: Guy inherits an enchanted coat containing Sakim, the Divine Beast of the Moon, trapped within a magic circle. As they journey through a dangerous forest, facing various threats, Guy’s use of Sakim’s power draws them closer together, potentially leading to a connection that transcends their initial arrangement.
Wolfhound
Wolfhound, by Iroha Megu (author of Maybe It’s Courtship, Mourning and New Departure, and The Bird Eating Snake), is described as a “sexy Boys Love manga.” The English language release is scheduled for November 2026, presented in a large-trim book and ebook format. Seven Seas Entertainment’s website confirms the acquisition.
Synopsis: Miroku, a devoted employee, finds his obsession with Mura, the number one host, interfering with his work. Mura decides to address Miroku’s behavior, discovering a hidden desire that could lead to an unforgettable “obedience training” session.
