Born in Lahore, Pakistan, Rasul moved to Huddersfield with his family as a child before relocating to Alloa, Scotland. He studied corporate law at the University of Strathclyde. Rasul launched his business career in the early 1990s and achieved significant success as the founder of E-Net Computers, becoming a self-made multi-millionaire.
Dragons’ Den Appearance
Rasul appeared as a Dragon on Dragons’ Den: Online, the BBC’s online spin-off of the popular television show, in 2009.1 The online series, hosted by Dominic Byrne, featured Rasul and Julie Meyer as the Dragons. Episodes featuring Rasul aired from September 16, 2009, to October 7, 2009.1
