SharkNinja is Hosting Its Own “Shark Tank”

SharkNinja is diving into the world of entrepreneurship wiht a contest mirroring the popular TV show, Shark Tank. The Needham-based consumer products company is partnering with MassChallenge, a nonprofit startup accelerator, to make it happen.

The SharkNinja Innovation challenge is specifically designed for young innovators. Individuals or teams aged 18 to 24 can submit their ideas, focusing on solutions to real consumer problems. Think accessibility and sustainability – how can products be made more inclusive or eco-kind?

Here’s how it works: entries are due October 24th. A select group of six to ten finalists will be chosen in January. These finalists will then get the chance to pitch their ideas in a “Shark tank” style meeting in March. The top three will win cash prizes, perhaps up to $25,000. But the benefits don’t stop there. All finalists will receive valuable mentorship and support from both SharkNinja and MassChallenge, helping them refine their concepts and navigate the startup landscape.
