Sharon Osbourne Opens Up About Ozzy Osbourne‘s Death
Sharon Osbourne is “still having trouble finding the words” after Ozzy Osbourne’s death earlier this summer.
On Friday (Sept. 12),the 72-year-old wife and longtime manager of the Black Sabbath frontman – who passed away on July 22 at age 76 – spoke out on social media for the first time as his passing,opening up about her grief and the outpouring of support she has received.
“I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media,” the British TV personality wrote alongside an Instagram post featuring a throwback photo of her and Ozzy.
She continued, “Ozzy deserves all the love and respect in the world. Thank you for celebrating his life with me.”
Osbourne’s death prompted an outpouring of tributes from fellow musicians,celebrities and fans alike.His passing marked the end of an era for heavy metal and rock music.
The couple, who married in 1982, were known for their tumultuous but enduring relationship, documented in reality shows like The Osbournes. Sharon Osbourne has been a constant presence in Ozzy’s career,managing his solo work and Black Sabbath.
