The story unfolds as the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm prepare for Halloween festivities. However, their plans are disrupted when the clumsy Farmer accidentally destroys the flock’s pumpkin patch. In a bid to rectify the situation, Shaun takes on the role of a “mad scientist,” but his experiments quickly spiral out of control. With the Farmer missing and a mysterious beast roaming the woods of Mossingham, the farm is thrown into chaos.

Aardman’s Third Shaun the Sheep Feature Film

Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom marks the third stop-motion animated feature film from Aardman, following Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015) and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019). Aardman is partnering with Sky and STUDIOCANAL on the production. Sky will be the exclusive UK distributor, releasing the film in cinemas and on Sky Cinema, while STUDIOCANAL will handle global distribution outside the UK.

The film is directed by Steve Cox and Matthew Walker, marking their feature directorial debut.
