Miloš Karol Advances at roanne Challenger, Continues Doubles Campaign

Slovak tennis player Miloš Karol has progressed to the second round of the Challenger 100 tournament in Roanne, France, following a hard-fought victory over sixth-seeded Spaniard Pablo Carreño Busta. The tournament, offering a total prize pool of €145,250 and played on an indoor hard court, saw Karol secure his place in the next round as a lucky loser.

The match concluded with a score of 6-7(8), 7-5, 7-6(7) after a grueling 156 minutes.Despite facing a deficit of 2-5 in the third set, Karol demonstrated resilience and ultimately prevailed in a tiebreak. He will now face French qualifier Matteo Martineau in his next singles match.

Beyond singles competition, Karol is also experiencing success in the doubles event. Partnering with Ukrainian Vitaliy Sachko, the duo has reached the quarter-finals, where they are scheduled to compete against the American-Dutch pairing of vasil Kirkov and Bart Stevens for a spot in the semi-finals.
